February is American Heart Month

About 715,000 Americans have a heart attack every year, making heart disease a major problem in our country. The numbers are shocking: 1 out of every 4 deaths in the United States -- which is roughly about 600,000 people -- die from heart disease each year!!!

Moreover, heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women, so neither gender's exempt. There is good news, though, and that's that with good exercising and dieting practices, heart disease is typically preventable and controllable. Here are some other good tips.

I guess you can consider this my public service announcement for the month.

Take care, y'all ! ... I mean it !!
